How to go to Temple of Leah:
we rode a jeepney going to IT Park. We then walked up near Skyrise Bldg and hired a habal-habal each (a motorcycle ride) to go around Temple of Leah and (as it's nearby) Mountain View Park. From IT Park to Temple, we paid 100 pesos per head. The trip took us 30 minutes. We decided to ask them to wait for us as it seemed transpo options on the way back were few to none (we were there Wednesday morning). It also seemed logical as we were pressed for time. Since they'd wait while we tour the temple, one driver asked for an additional charge of 50 pesos, we decided not to haggle anymore as we thought it fair and square. After Temple they brought us down the Mountain View Park (would've been a long walk), and again waited for us. After both the tours we all headed back to IT Park (for another 100 pesos.) Summed up we paid for 250 pesos per head.
When I researched for the ways to go to Temple of Leah, one blog post said there was a shuttle service going there. We didn't find any. Our second option was a jeepney ride from JY Square to Busay where we'd have to ask the driver first if he's directed to Mountain View, if he is that's where we'd have to walk our way up to Temple of Leah. Our habal-habal option may have cost us way more but I figured out, it was the better option. We got there way faster, the weather was cool and the view was a feast for the eyes. All of us agreed it was one of our favorite experience in Cebu.
Temple of Leah is said to be a monument of undying love of Teodorico Adarna to his wife Leah V. Adarna. This temple, some said is the Philippine version of Taj Mahal.
Temple of Leah is located at Bgy. Busay, Cebu City and is open from 6am to 11pm with entrance fee of 50 pesos.
