Lugang Cafe

Shanghai-based Bellagio restaurant finally agreed to branch out to Manila. Bellagio is known for having the best Taiwanese cuisine in China and the best desserts in Shanghai. Since Bellagio is a registered name here in Manila, they were forced to use the translation of its Chinese name -- Lugang Cafe. (ourawesomeplanet. com)

For 40 days, as my way of sacrifice for Lent, I didn't eat rice. So last Easter Sunday we celebrated by eating out. We tried Lugang for the first time. The food we've had were yummy enough that my going back to carbs or the long wait was worth it.

Fried Rice with Taiwanese Sausage, P280
