Venice Grand Canal Mall is a lifestyle mall (just like Eastwood and Newport) located in Taguig. Only few restaurants and stores are operating when we went there three weeks ago. When we got there at around 1pm it was so hot and when we got inside the mall it was cold naman so it was maybe the reason why I got headaches when we went home. I don't know why, it's open-air yet maalinsangan to think summertime's already over. There were many people that time, I guess because the place is instagrammable which makes it perfect for photo ops. But since few stores and restos are available there's really not much to expect yet. If I were to be asked it'd only be worth the journey if it's fully operational already. For me the gondola is so short a ride, but if it's any consolation, they said you will be serenaded by the gondoliers, they have Love Locks at the Ponte d' Amore bridge, (i think you have to bring your own locks, i also don't know if you're to throw the key hehe), there's on the spot portrait caricature, for foodies, there's S&R inside their food court where Robinson’s supermarket is also located and speaking of, they have pretty good selections there, very much like Rustan's.
To get there, the easiest way for me, because this is where I'm most familiar with, take MRT and go down at Guadalupe station, there are jeepneys bound for AFP Housing and Fort Bonifacio, any of them will do as both will pass by McKinley Hill. Just tell the driver to drop you off there and it would be a walking distance from there. As you walk your way, you will pass by One World Square, Chinese International School and the Venice Residence.
