Modern Shanghai

I never gave XIAO LONG BAO much thought until one article came up with comparisons from different restaurants. Every time we eat out,  xiao long bao wasn't our popular choice but maybe not this time.  Well I wish to at least try it every time it appears on the menu so I'll see.  Last Christmas we dined in at Modern Shanghai where we had our first try of xlb, which we learned has a right way of eating. We also tried deep fried pork ribs and a veggie that's sautéed kangkong for good measure of healthy something, XLB tasted mighty good but I think it'll be all the better if served hot, not piping.  But since the soup that came with it would reveal the surprise,  I personally wanted it that way.
