Scones

TWG TEA,  2pcs/ P150

SCONES,  a single-serving cake or quick bread, usually made of wheat, barley or oatmeal,  with baking powder as leavening agent  and are baked on sheet pans. They are often lightly sweetened and are occasionally glazed with egg wash.  the scone is a basic component of the cream tea or Devonshire tea.  it differs from a tea cake and other sweet buns, which are made with yeast. - Wikipedia

I've only tried TWG Tea's scones and I don't know if it's fair to say it's become my favorite.  The first time I had it, it was so tasty that it's enough I didn't need to top it with any jelly or cream cheese that came with it. When one time we had it for take away and our place then hasn't any toaster to keep it warm,  we enjoyed it all the same.  But yes,  if you have the option, try serving it warm. I hope my feet will soon lead me to more stores offering different kind of scones. Can anyone recommend?
