Hot-Star is a popular chicken shop
in Taiwan and is known for their huge chicken fillet. Here in Manila you
can sit down and enjoy your large chicken meal while originally in
Taiwan it was just grab and go set-up. One night we went to Blue Bay
Walk and had a simple dinner in Hot Star and found out what the rave
was all about. |

Original Large Fried Chicken, P110 (+P35 with rice and drink) |

Crispy Large Fried Chicken, P110 (+P35 with rice and drink) |
|
We decided to share our chickens :) |
|
The drinks are priced P28 (regular), P36 (medium) and P45 (large). I had Blue Lemonade, he had Mug Rootbeer. |
|
Soft Serve Cone, P15. I tried Black
Gulaman. (which at the end tasted like champorado na, hahaha) They have
Almond too and a combination of both. |
Their other offerings include Sides like french fries (P60), mushroom soup (P35), mashed potato (P45). They also have chicken popcorn (P95), Large Crispy fish (P110), BBQ Fried chicken (P125), BBQ wings (P125/4pcs, P360/12pcs), Chicken sandwich (P145), Fish sandwich (P145) and Spaghetti (P50).
He thought Hot-Star is overrated while I thought otherwise. It's not like your KFC or Jollibee fried chicken pero di naman sya pahuhuli. Besides who wouldn't want your chicken as huge as that? haha. I know I will go back and whether he likes it or not, he will go with me pa rin. :)
Hot Star is located at Blue Bay Walk, Macapagal Avenue corner EDSA, Pasay City
