Yakimix

I used to believe I was not made for all-you-can-eat spread until I tried it the first time. So armed with the first experience I know better now what to expect. Here's our Yakimix experience in photos...

appetizers
I didn't try any as I was starving I was gunning for rice right away, haha.

korean, chinese, pinoy foods
I mostly tried korean dishes for ulam and chinese fried rice to pair them with. Try pork sisig too and kutchay dumpling, yummy!

so many choices to grill: meat, fish, veggies, seafoods
Go for seafoods first before the meats.

seasonings you can add before grilling

sushi bar
if you're not into rice meals you can try all these, just remember na kanin din sya so mabilis makabusog.

more maki

soba noodles
which I wish I tried, I tried salmon only.

gummies

there's always halo-halo

more desserts
I liked the ones on the top most and those at the bottom.

mini cakes (blueberry cheesecake wins!), puddings, flans

chocolate fondue

ice cream by Nestle

drinks - Try blue lemonade.

coffee (caramel macchiato, mocha, black and Milo)

Tips:

Scan what's in the buffet first so you'll know which ones you want to try right away and those for later pa if you still can.

For grilling: choose the ones you don't eat on a daily basis like prawns, squid, yung mga mamahaling isda and even the ones na hindi nyo kilala.haha, para sulit and besides when grilled and seasoned with salt and pepper and with their bite size, I don't think it will go wrong.

Get one each of all the desserts you like and then share share na lang, that way you'll have a little of everything. Make room for desserts because ang daming masarap.

Try to have one glass of drink only so you won't get full right away, sip sip lang, sayang ang space sa tyan for desserts, haha. Or you can rest for a while and enjoy those desserts with coffee, pampababa naman ng kinain.
