Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken

Peri peri or Piri piri in Swahili is also called as African bird's eye chili, one of the sources of chili pepper that grows both wild and domesticated. Piri piri sauce, used as seasoning or marinade is Portuguese in origin and made from crushed chilies, citrus peel, onion, salt, pepper, lemon juice, bay leaves, paprika, pimento, basil, oregano and tarragon. - Wikipedia

We've tried Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken without expecting anything except that the word "peri peri" was something I've already heard of but couldn't quite remember. Good thing it was a pleasant experience as we enjoyed the spicy and grilled dish. It was delicious and satisfying. The price was worth it given how big the servings were. I've tried their chicken platter (the one with fish sticks) served with 1/4 chicken,  corn and carrots and java rice for P260 and hubby tried fried chicken fillet with mashed potato and gravy. Drinks though weren't included yet. We were hangry (hungry+angry) that time so we forgot to try their signature sauces, sayang. They serve different beers too, btw. :)
