Chelsea Kitchen


Christmas lunch was here when we headed to Mandaluyong last weekend. It wasn't 12 noon yet so there were not much people around like only two tables were occupied. We ordered drinks, pasta and pizza. It was only when we noticed that we've been waiting for forever when the family that came after us were served of their orders first. It's been almost 30 minutes. When I followed up, our orders weren't ready yet so again we WAITED. They never informed us of how many minutes we'd be waiting for either orders. I mentioned that to the server, no info still. After a few more minutes the pasta was served. When we were done with the pasta we were still waiting for the pizza to arrive. Don't we like to eat pasta WITH pizza? Well we do. The food was good actually but their service was damn poor. They weren't even that packed, like just 5 tables that time we were waiting. Their receipt said 'temporary' and when we asked for the OR the guy said that that was it.

I don't think we'd go back there anymore. I can look for a restaurant around Mega Fashion Hall that is as good even better and with excellent service. I'd understand if they're full to the brim but they're not. They weren't even sorry like we never heard an apology, maybe because we're cool? like we didn't raise our voice or made a scene or we just said okay and then waited and waited? It was Christmas. I chose to control my anger and disappointment. In the same way that I hoped Chelsea Kitchen chose to be of better service to just about every single one.
