To try to be mindful of what I put into my body, I have tried vegetable and fruit juices every dinner of the weekend for quite some time. For some reason, I have stopped. When Ash Wednesday started and that means fasting and abstinence for us Catholics, I vowed to abstain from eating rice every Friday only since I really really can't give up on it that easily. So in keeping with the faith and the thought that I can start this healthy habit right about this time when I am abstaining, I get back to juicing once again. First off is the Green Juice. I've seen this on Kris Aquino's magazine so I thought I'd share...
Ingredients for Green Juice:
cucumber
green bell pepper
celery stalks
pineapple juice (kris used apple juice)
Procedure:
just put all ingredients in the blender and enjoy 2 glasses at once
Note: apart from pineapple or apple juice, you can also try using coconut water, I've tried using this drinks in lieu of just plain water.
For added nourishment you can squeeze in malunggay leaves and spinach, this though I have yet to try. :)

I have also tried this Banana Q recipe which I think is the healthier version of the one that's available on the street and yummier too. This recipe I got from Mars. I forgot who did this though.
Ingredients and Procedure:
Squeeze in lemon juice onto saging na saba
Mix in brown sugar and cinnamon
Roll saba in brown sugar-cinnamon mixture
Fry
