Off we were to Lucban, Quezon morning of Good Friday for Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center. We were at Jam Terminal, Buendia by 5:30 am waiting for the next bus to arrive to bring us to Lucena. We’ve been waiting at the terminal for an hour when we finally decided to transfer to Lucena Lines instead (just across Jam, which we just found out that day when hubby was trying to find other available bus service). Lucky us, that when we hopped on that bus, it was all set to go. I seriously hate buses because I never liked how they smell, they almost always send me to puke land that’s why I never forget to bring a scarf or a towel to cover my nose and mouth the entire trip. This will take us to Lucena for three straight hours so it was kind of hell for me. Plus I also have motion sickness so I’m really a lame partner when on a road trip. At Lucena terminal, there are food chains open that day so we opted to have early lunch first before another jeepney ride, which was a good idea because it took us an hour and a half to finally get to the Grotto (normal travel time they say was just 45 minutes).
The sun was scorching hot when we finally got there, it was tiring and exhausting but all worth the travel and time.

Take home:
Pancit habhab. The one I want to try at home. This wasn't impressive though :( |
Bought this so I can make my own version of pancit habhab at home |
Yum. Saw many people buying this at Lucena Terminal, good thing we also bought. :) |
Lucban longganiza |
Try Jac Liner buses. (also in Buendia beside Lucena Lines) Theirs are new and smell better :) We paid P209.50 from Lucena terminal going home. Bus fare is actually P210 (I don't know why Jac Liner is less 50 cents) then for the jeepney ride, it's P30. (Manila - Lucena is P210, Lucena - Lucban is P30)
Lucban longganiza is surprisingly cheaper inside Kamay ni Hesus than those being peddled outside.
Don't forget to pray when you get to the Resurrected Christ. So many people were all about taking pictures that you can easily forget to take a moment and pray.
If you will go during summer days, bring umbrella and bottled water. (Summer is from March-May)
