Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients:
1/4 kg beef
broccoli
1tbsp oil
garlic
1/4 tsp sugar
1/2 cup water

for marinade:
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in 1/2 tbsp water)

for sauce:
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce

Procedure:
Marinate beef for at least 30 minutes.

For sauce, combine all ingredients in a small bowl.

Heat oil, add garlic, broccoli and sugar. Stir fry, add 1/2 cup water. Cover for a minute then set aside.

Stir fry beef.

Return broccoli mix. Stir in sauce. Stir fry for another 3minutes.

P.S. I love this recipe. I tried doing the same recipe using chicken breast but I guess beef is better. I preferred steaming broccoli first and then proceeded with the procedure to hasten the process. I used light soy sauce because it's less salty.

Bon Apetit!

  1. Great post!. This is the stir fry sauce recipe that I'm looking for. I will buy all the ingredients given here because I'm planning to prepare this one for our dinner tomorrow. I wish I can cook this one great and correctly.

  2. Thanks Richard! Good luck. Just don't forget to give it a taste first so you can adjust it to your own liking like if you like it salty or less. Enjoy! :)
