food blog: Chatime

No matter how huge SM Megamall is, come lunch time, you'd still find your first choice of restaurant/ food joint full of people. And when your tummy can't afford to walk from one building to another, you'd always settle for what's near or what bistro you'd first find with a empty tables. Chatime was a happy discovery. I've read reviews about how their chicken was a must-try daw. Chatime in Makati doesn't offer that. But Chatime in Megamall does and so here we were savouring every crunch and every sip.

Chicken chops (P85)

Annatto Pilaf rice (P18)

Matcha (P85)

Coffee (P80)

What I like about chicken chops was how crispy and malasa it was. It wasn't nakakasawa. It will not pale in comparison with your other favorite brand. And it's affordable too. You must give it a try. Seriously.

I was never disappointed with all the teas I've tried here by far. Matcha tasted like the real thing as it was a bit bitter which I honestly think should be the way to serve it and not be veiled by the sweet, creamy milk just so it'd be acceptable.

We were never a creature of habit when it comes to food, but chicken chops and Matcha might just be my hard habit to break.
