There are a few restaurants inside St. Luke's global city. One that's new is Market on 5th avenue by Chef Co. Given that she has many sikat restaurants in the metro and her good rep precedes her it's curiousity to want to know how Market differs from her other restaurants.

there's this cafeteria feel when you get inside. |
|
cookies, banana chips, mixed tarts and peanuts come in big bottles for take out. all are labeled market on 5th avenue. |
|
free water station for diners. |
|
imported treats like crackers,
chocolate chip cookies and then some are also available here, so instead
of heading out the hospital and go to S&R, you can take a look if
they have it here first. when we were here, i chanced upon a KitKat
variant that's not available in international isles of some leading
groceries. |
|
i guess whatever you fancy they have it here, name it and it's all here.
|
|
they have wide selections like
pancakes and waffles, pinoy breakfast (tapa, tocino, longganiza,
sardines) and merienda (arroz caldo, dinuguan, pansit, champorado).
there are many grilled foods to choose from also, chinese foods like
noodles, congee and dimsum, there's sashimi, sushi, cakes, pasta,
salads, wraps, sandwiches. i don't think me hahanapin ka pa sa iba :) |
|
champorado (95) and turon (55)
sorry
i forgot to take a pic of turon, it's bigger than your ordinary order and langka-filled.
just request them to warm it for you para enjoy lang :) champorado naman
is okay too but i like it swimming in milk kasi, unlike the one they
served na ma-cocoa (it's good that way though) kumbaga sa chocolate,
it's served black but i wanted mine milk-chocolatey so ayun :)

sweet spam breakfast (170) we're
guilty of spam. we so love it even if we know it's high in sodium but when it's on the menu.
spam agad agad. :) |
