Sully

Yesterday we saw Sully in Greenbelt. Directed by Clint Eastwood and which starred Tom Hanks. I love movies like this. Not your commercial type of movie where producers or probably anyone involved in the film only cared for a successful box-office receipt. (Not that it didn't succeed because it did). It's a feel good movie, one that'd make you believe in the innate goodness of the human race. I wanted to clap every scene I found amazing but I knew better than to be emotional. I've had the chance to work with airline captains before (I used to work in an airline company) so I've learned to give them the utmost respect they so deserve. But only in this movie I learned that to heart. It gives you a happy smile out the door when you caught a movie that, more than it entertained you, it gave you hope and lesson too.

Sully is a 2016 American biographical drama based on the autobiography Highest Duty by Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow. The film follows Sullenberger's January 2009 emergency landing of a commuter jet on the Hudson river, which all 155 passengers and crew survived with only minor injuries, and the subsequent publicity and investigation. - Wikipedia
